Dear Amy,
Let's just get right down to it. Why the heck are you starting another blog? This is what, number 3? 4? Oh geesh. Why waste your time? Why waste other people's time? I mean, really?
Sincerely,
Amy
Okay, okay. Not the coolest or most interesting way to start a new blog, but I figured it would show a bit of my spunk (or dual-personalities) as some might say. I will admit to you that I have in fact started many blogs. I think the total is 4. Ouch. That is embarrasing to write. I am not even sure why I stopped posting on those. Perhaps I felt boring? lame? uninteresting? Or I got myself into a bit of trouble by posting about other people. Not in a bad way. In a "I think I may still love you" way. Eek! Again, embarrasing. Oh well, I am over it! :-)
I have decided, this is going to be different. I mean, if there is a time to write a blog, this is it!
Brief introduction: I am a girl from the Midwest (O-H-I-O to be exact) in my early-twenties and I moved to Northern Virginia (must be specified as it is practically its own state) at the end of August. I came here for a job at the United States Holocaust Memorial Musuem in DC -- which is a beyond amazing place to work.
So that is about it. I mean I could go into detail and tell you that I am fun, spunky, opinionated, I am growing in my faith everyday, I probably talk too much, I like to be busy (hence why I am writing this while sitting at my desk waiting for Happy Hour to start), I have lots of pet peeves and will probably share them on occasion, reading keeps me sane, and I cannot wait to meet "the one" -- but then again I don't think you want to know those types of things.
To end this first (but not last) post, this is me! And it is so nice to meet you.
